What To Bring On Your HoneymoonYour wedding is over and now it's just the two of you! Here's a handy list of what to bring with you to your wedding night bedroom, wherever it may be!
LUBRICANT This is an important one! First time sex can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable, but a good lubricant can keep the evening running *ahem* smoothly. Of course, your body also releases its own natural lubricant if you give it enough time. But a little extra help is also nice. If you're using condoms, a water-based lubricant is best. Some women also find that a silicone-based lubricant works better for them. Be sure to test it first to make sure you don't have any allergies. ANYTHING THAT HELPS YOU RELAX AND FEEL CONFIDENT Your wedding night and honeymoon, and the rest of your sex life, is all your own! It's between you and your husband. You can take things at your own pace. Having a romantic atmosphere can help some couples get in the mood. You can bring candles, sparkling cider, sexy music, every season of your favorite TV show, lingerie, comfy sweats...whatever makes you feel most like yourself! CONFIDENCE Listen. We know we live in a world where it's easy to be overwhelmed by intimidating sexual expectations. Supermodels and pornography and television and billboards send us all kinds of messages about how we should look and what we should do. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BRING ANY OF THAT WITH YOU. You are a daughter of God with a beautiful body that you get to share with someone you love! Your soon-to-be-husband will almost certainly be excited and thrilled to spend time with YOU. OPTIONAL: BIRTH CONTROL Depending on what you've decided, you may need to bring along the pill, the patch, condoms, or whatever else you might have chosen. Don't forget to follow the instructions on whatever you're using! Advice from The LadiesComing soon!
